◆ The studio
Fifteen years spent helping people make sense of their own bodies.
SkyGazer Labs is an independent software studio in Cambridge. We build tools for people living with chronic digestive conditions — and we’ve been at it since 2010.
Why we exist
If you live with IBS or IBD, you already know the hardest part isn’t a single bad day — it’s the uncertainty. Symptoms arrive without an obvious cause. The advice is generic. And the appointment where you might get answers is fifteen minutes long, months away, and easy to walk out of empty-handed.
We started SkyGazer Labs in 2010 on a simple bet: that the answer is usually hiding in a person’s own data, if only it were captured faithfully and read properly. Track food, symptoms, medication, sleep, stress and exercise over time, run the record through a correlation engine that never gets bored, and the triggers that felt random start to resolve into a pattern.
That bet became the mySymptoms app, now used by more than 1.2 million people around the world — and a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform that carries what people learn back to the clinicians who can act on it.
