We help people read the
patterns in their own health.
SkyGazer Labs builds software that turns the scattered signals of daily life — what you ate, how you slept, how you felt — into patterns you can act on. Our AI finds the connection between cause and symptom that was there all along.
The thesis
A symptom is a data point.
A pattern is an answer.
Chronic conditions rarely announce themselves in a single moment. They show up as a scatter of small signals across weeks — a meal here, a bad night there, a flare that seems to come from nowhere. On their own they look like noise. Charted together, and read by a correlation engine that never gets tired, they resolve into something you can name. Every product we make starts from the same conviction: give people a faithful record of their own experience, and the pattern was there all along.
- Principle
The record is the user’s.
Personal health data belongs to the person who lived it. We design for trust, portability and privacy before anything else.
- Principle
Clarity over dashboards.
We’d rather surface one honest pattern than bury it under charts. The answer should be legible to a human, not only a clinician.
- Principle
Built to be lived with.
Tracking only works if people keep doing it. We obsess over the daily friction so the habit survives real life.
What we build
The catalogue
mySymptoms
Food diary & symptom tracker — iOS & Android
A food, symptom and lifestyle diary that helps people with IBS, food intolerances and chronic digestive conditions find the triggers behind their symptoms — and bring real evidence to their next appointment. Used by more than 1.2 million people worldwide.
Explore mySymptomsTelehealth
Secure, HIPAA-compliant clinician platform
The bridge between a patient’s own record and their care team — so the evidence people gather in mySymptoms reaches the clinician who can act on it, securely and in context.
Explore TelehealthThe studio
A small Cambridge studio, pointed at a hard problem.
SkyGazer Labs was founded in 2010 by Damian Helme and Darren Launders. We build and operate our own health products rather than taking client work — which means we live with them for years, learn from the people who use them every day, and keep refining.
